【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardisaproductspecification,givingperformancerequirementsforfiresafetycabinetstobeusedforthestorageofflammableliquidsinlaboratories.Itisapplicabletocabinetswithatotalinternalvolumeofnotgreaterthan1m,whichmaybefreestanding,restrainedtoawallormountedonwheelsorcastors.Itisnotapplicabletobrickenclosuresorwalk-instoragerooms.ThisEuropeanStandardisnotapplicabletocabinetswhichdonottaketheirweightontheirbase.Requirementsaregiveninrespectoftheconstructionofthecabinetanditscapacitytoresistfireconditionsontheoutside.Aclassificationofcabinetsisgiven,accordingtotheleveloffireresistanceoffered,andatypetestisincluded,whichdrawsonalreadyexistingfireresistancetests,suchasthosegiveninISO834-1[1]andEN1363-1.ThetestsdescribedinthisEuropeanStandardaretypetests.NOTE1ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotdiscriminatebetweendifferentflammableliquids,whichmayhaveconsiderablydifferentphysicalproperties.Thesuitabilityofthestandardinrespectofanygivenflammableliquidshouldbeascertainedbytheuser.NOTE2Attentionisdrawntonationalregulationswhichmayapplywithregardtothestorageofflammableliquids.
